Can my child receive therapy services at TLC?

How can I refer a child for services?

Does insurance cover therapy services?
Insurance companies are increasingly covering therapy services. There are also other funding sources for therapy in California, like the Regional Center. Funding for services will be discussed during your phone consultation with a TLC Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) – a staff person who is dedicated to assisting your child in receiving the care he/she needs.
Can I attend my child’s therapy sessions?
Yes! TLC encourages a caregiver’s active participation in therapy sessions. We believe that the caregiver’s role is most critical and we are committed to supporting you in developing skills to support your child and carry over progress made in clinic to the home. What types of developmental and learning disorders does TLC treat?
TLC treats a wide range of childhood conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Mental Retardation and other neurodevelopmental disorders. TLC clinicians are skilled at addressing Sensory Processing Disorders and Speech and Language Conditions like Cognitive Communication Disorders, Social Communication Disorders, Functional Speech Sound Disorders of Articulation and Phonology, Feeding and Swallowing, Organic Speech Sound Disorders, and Resonance Disorders.
